Two Brothers. Different Cars. The Same Bad Ideas.
Dumb Shifts is an automotive podcast and community created by two brothers—Quinn, known online as Stuck in Park, and Ian, known as sweens.e36.f87.
Quinn loves muscle cars, drag racing, and going fast in a straight line. Ian is into road courses, handling, and clean OEM+ builds. We don’t always agree on what makes a car good, which gives us plenty to talk about.
Now we’re both getting into drifting, building our own cars, and documenting everything we learn along the way.

The Greatest Car Show That Isn’t a Car Show
For us, cars have always been about more than numbers and specifications. They’re about learning new skills, making questionable decisions, breaking things, fixing them, and meeting people who know more than we do.
Dumb Shifts is where we shoot the shit, discuss cars, share our builds, and learn as much race-car knowledge as possible—because race-car knowledge is obviously the most valuable thing in the world.
We aren’t here to pretend we’re experts. We’re here to mess around, learn by doing, talk to interesting people, and bring everyone along for the ride.
Some projects will work. Some probably won’t. Either way, we’re documenting the process on Dumb Shifts and our personal pages.
Meet the Brothers
Quinn — Stuck in Park
Quinn is the muscle-car and drag-racing side of Dumb Shifts. He loves horsepower, straight-line speed, and cars that make more noise than necessary.
As he gets into drifting and continues working on his own builds, he’ll be documenting the progress, mistakes, and lessons through Dumb Shifts and his personal page.
Ian — sweens.e36.f87
Ian is the road-course and OEM+ side of Dumb Shifts. He appreciates cars that handle, builds that improve the original platform, and modifications that look like they belong there.
He’s also getting into drifting and will be sharing his builds, driving progress, and everything he learns through Dumb Shifts and his personal page.
